Failing ESPN is putting out fake news about a Brady/Belichick/Kraft Rift

Well, we’ve got some pretty fresh news here dropping on Twitter. Apparently, ESPN is planning to publish an extensive hit piece on the Patriots tomorrow morning by Seth Wickersham (stop me if you’ve heard that one before).

The article will go into detail about a reported rift between Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. Apparently this disagreement is over who deserves the most credit for the dynasty (this already sounds insanely fake) and alleges that Brady went to Kraft to demand that he force Belichick to trade Jimmy Garoppolo. It also says that many in the Patriots organization think the situation is so volatile that this year will be the last go round for the group (ha).

Now, the article isn’t up yet obviously so I can’t properly react, but I felt the need to say that my initial reaction is that this is another pile of horse shit designed to generate publicity and clicks. The fact that it comes just as the Patriots are preparing for another playoff run is only a bonus. I’ll come back tomorrow with my reaction after I read it and digest it for a bit but I’ll tell you right now, it would take something HUGE for me to flip and believe this. Stay tuned.

*Ahhh I can’t wait for Boston sports radio tomorrow. That and Pats Twitter should be very well thought out and not at all dumb.
