Rochester NY plays host to this event where former Lightweight’s Kevin Lee and Rafael Dos Anjos go to battle at Welterweight, their natural weight class. Also on the card, My favorite prospect Vicente Luque goes to battle with a short notice replacement in Derrick Krantz.

Welterweight: Vicente Luque (-700) Vs. Derrick Krantz (+450)

Now that Neil Magny is out of this matchup, this one is a no-brainer to me. Vicente Luque is the top prospect that no one has heard of. Inside the UFC, he has only lost twice in 10 fights, those losses coming in his first UFC fight against Michael Graves and to Welterweight Contender Leon Edwards. On the other hand, he has finished each of his UFC victories and did so over tough competition. His last fight against Bryan Barberena was a classic and Luque bit down on his mouthpiece in the last moments and finished Barberena with punches with 6 seconds left on the clock. Derrick Krantz is fully deserving of a shot in the UFC, but damn he got a tough draw. No-Brainer. Vicente Luque Def. Derrick Krantz

Women’s Featherweight: Megan Anderson (-175) Vs. Felicia Spencer (+145)

Gotta be real with the people, I don’t think that Megan Anderson is all that good. She got worked by Holly Holm in her debut when Holm was fighting up a weight class. She then fought Cat Zingano and only won because her toe went in Cat’s eye and nearly blinded her. Felicia Spencer is an unbeaten prospect in a very shallow division she also happened to defeat highly touted Bantamweight prospect Macy Chiasson when they were amateurs. I’m going with Spencer, but definitely do not place any bets on the dog here. Fecilia Spencer Def. Megan Anderson

Middleweight: Antonio Carlos Junior (-175) Vs. Ian Heinisch (+145)

Antonio Carlos Junior is going into this fight riding high. Now on a five fight win streak inside the UFC, Carlos Junior looks unstoppable. The Jiu-Jitsu master is on another level when it comes to grappling, however he faces a man who has defeated grappling masters in the past as Ian Heinisch has defeated two Jiu Jitsu Blackbelts in his recent bouts. Heinisch defeated Cezar Ferreira by unanimous decision after traveling to brazil and coming in on short notice. I believe that Heinisch will take this victory as his wrestling skills will negate Carlos’ high level Jiu-Jitsu. Ian Heinisch Def. Antonio Carlos Junior

Welterweight: Kevin Lee (-110) Vs. Rafael Dos Anjos (-120)

This fight’s story is really based around the idea of Weight. Does a large weight cut really make that much of a difference for fighters? For Kevin Lee, we are going to find out on Saturday. RDA looked like a worldbeater when he first moved up to Welterweight beating the likes of Tarec Saffiedine, Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler before losing in his interim title shot to Colby Covington, He recently lost to current Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and as a result is on a two fight skid. Kevin Lee is making his first UFC journey to 170 pounds and it was very needed, as he has had trouble making weight on multiple occasions, though he only officially missed on one occasion. Lee will surely be much healthier as he enters the cage on Saturday and I can definitely see a Lee Victory coming on Saturday night. Now, I only said I can see a Lee Victory, it doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen. I’ve got RDA but only because Kevin Lee’s signature victory is Edson Barboza and Edson has not looked great recently. Rafael Dos Anjos Def. Kevin Lee
